We are a volunteer run support centre for sex workers, allies, and women in crisis. Our model is one of empowerment, with the goal of meeting women (trans-inclusive) and non-binary folks where they are at and helping sex working women (trans-inclusive) and non-binary folks operate with safety and dignity. We aim to make real a community that strives to raise the basic living conditions of its most vulnerable and exploited members.
SafeSpace currently operates at 96 Rectory Street, Unit A. We are open Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 11pm and Wednesday from 10:30am to 1:30pm. We offer harm reduction and first aid supplies, HIV and STI/STD educational resources, cosmetics, clothing, hygiene products, food, coffee, tea, peer support, and information about current services and resources in London, Ontario.
We recognize an individual's right to choose or refuse sex work. We work to educate the public about sex work in London. We support and promote the decriminalization of sex work.
